Alison L. Bailey recently graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina with an MFA in Metal design. She received her BFA in Metals and a BA in Womens Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2012. Alison works in metal and fabric to create one of a kind jewelry. She is influenced by repeating patterns and motifs found on vintage textiles. Alison has exhibited in various regional, national, and international shows including Sup Brooch, an online-juried exhibition by One Wall Gallery, Spoon Me!, an International spoon show at Medalta in Alberta, Canada; and the 28th annual Materials: Hard & Soft exhibition at Meadows Gallery in Denton, TX. Alison was also co-chair for the 2015 ECU Material Topics Symposium: Crafting Connections and curated a collaborative show, Four Hands are Better Than Two, in conjunction with the 2015 Symposium. She currently resides in Greenville, North Carolina.
